$10 cash rebate for registrations completed by September 25, 2026. The rebate is separate from the $90 checkout price.
Age division is based on the player's age on January 1, 2026.
A player who was 11 on January 1, 2026 belongs in the 8–11 division, even if they turn 12 later in the year.
Players may play up to an older age division. Players may not play down.
No tryouts. Every child plays. Players may register individually or express interest in joining with a team.
Registration opens September 18, 2026 at 12:01 AM and closes October 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Scheduled opener: weekend of October 24, 2026. Planned play dates: October 24 – November 22, 2026, subject to weather delays.
Games are played Saturday and/or Sunday mornings, depending on final registration numbers. Teams should expect doubleheaders.
A six-game minimum, including single-elimination playoffs. Every team qualifies.
Final schedules and specific game times will be emailed to families shortly after registration closes.

Required footwear: Athletic sneakers or rubber-molded cleats. Metal cleats are not permitted.
The official youth rulebook lists all additional equipment requirements.
Free agents and teams are welcome to join! Volunteer coaches are always welcome. Players are placed into club team identities. A specific team assignment is not guaranteed.
Volunteer coaches determine practice frequency and location. Next Rival does not host separate practice sessions.

YOUTH NR WIFFLE RESOURCES
The official NR WIFFLE Diamond Field Youth Rulebook v1.1 covers outdoor Wiffle Ball for ages 8–11 and 12–14. It is not an approved adult NR rulebook or a Diamond Court rulebook.
OFFICIAL YOUTH RULES
Play 21 minutes, take a 3-minute halftime, then play 21 minutes. The first-half winner earns 2 match points; a tied half gives each team 1. Every final-half run adds 1 match point. Most total points wins. A 10-point final-half lead ends the match immediately.
A player may pitch in only one half, and teams use different opener and closer pitchers. Rosters hold 4–8 players, four defend at a time, and every available player participates. Nobody is required to pitch.
At the final horn, finish only the next pitch and resulting play, then compare total match points. Regular-season ties stand. Playoff ties use Long Ball Derby, followed if needed by the coaches’ round and captains’ best-of-three rock-paper-scissors.
Official NR uniforms, NR-approved yellow plastic bats and NR-issued game balls are required. Fielders play barehanded. Metal cleats, sliding, charging and deliberately dangerous play are prohibited; controlled pegging is shoulders down.
