Who we are and what this notice covers
KNFFL LLC DBA NRS PHL (“Organizer”), operator of the Next Rival Sports™ brand (“Next Rival,” “we,” or “us”), administers the programs covered by this notice. This notice applies to information we handle through NextRivalSports.com, inquiries, registration, team administration, events and Next Rival activities. Privacy requests may be sent to HQ@NextRivalSports.com with the subject line ‘Privacy Request.’
This notice governs Next Rival practices. A separate provider may also process information for its own purposes under its own notice. Our permission to use a provider for registration is not permission to use participant information for advertising.
Our no-data-advertising rule
Next Rival does not sell or rent personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use registration, inquiry, participant, household, payment, health or browsing data to target advertising. We do not upload customer lists or hashed contact details to advertising platforms, build lookalike audiences, or install retargeting pixels or server-side advertising conversions.
Sponsors do not receive participant or guardian contact lists, private rosters, medical information or identifiable registration records for marketing. The website may display sponsor logos and Player of the Week or Matchup of the Week features labeled “Presented by”; jerseys may carry sponsor logos. These placements are not selected using personal-data profiles. Identifiable player features require the separate media permissions.
Sponsors receive no independent reuse rights or data access. No sponsorship placement is permitted during checkout on Next Rival or its external TeamLinkt registration page. Children’s information is not used for advertising profiles or AI training.
Information used to operate Next Rival programs
Registration and eligibility: guardian and participant names, adult contact information, relationship to the child, age or birthdate where necessary, selected program, team assignment, jersey size and acceptance records. These support enrollment, eligibility, uniforms and team operations.
Safety: emergency contacts and necessary allergy, accommodation, restriction or incident information supplied privately. These support safe participation and emergency response; we do not need unrelated medical histories.
Payments and support: purchase, rebate, refund and payment-status records; inquiry contents; and records of our response. Payment credentials belong in the authorized checkout, not in email or public forms.
Technical information: our website and service infrastructure may receive IP address, device/browser information, request times and error/security logs to deliver and protect the service. Optional statistics must be limited to service improvement and must not create advertising profiles. Media and public recognition follow separate choices.
When information is shared
Authorized Next Rival personnel receive only information needed for their role. Coaches receive relevant roster, guardian-contact and safety information; they do not receive unrestricted payment or medical files. Team communications may be visible to the team members and guardians included in that channel.
Service providers may receive information needed for hosting, registration, payment processing, communications, uniforms or authorized screening. We require appropriate restrictions and security for processing on our behalf. Uniform suppliers should receive sizes and order identifiers rather than full participant records whenever practicable.
We may disclose necessary information to emergency responders, insurers, professional advisers or authorities for care, a claim, a legal requirement or protection against a specific safety/security threat. These are limited operational disclosures, not marketing permission. We do not offer personal records as an asset for sale to advertisers.
TeamLinkt, checkout and other external services
The website links to TeamLinkt for registration and team services. Its privacy notice is available at https://teamlinkt.com/legal/privacy-policy. Payment-provider information should also be reviewed at checkout. An external provider’s own account, device and service practices may differ from Next Rival’s.
TeamLinkt’s posted notice describes adult advertising-data sharing. Next Rival does not authorize advertising use of records processed on its behalf, but this notice cannot guarantee that a provider does not independently collect or use adult account/device information. Contact us about a provider-related privacy concern. Next Rival will review the applicable settings and contractual limits before representing the entire registration experience as free of advertising-data use.
Following a YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or other external link takes you to that service’s own environment. We do not upload Next Rival contact lists to those services. External media should not load tracking automatically on Next Rival pages; privacy-preserving links or controls are required before embedding services that collect optional data.
Children, parents and public information
An adult parent or legal guardian must complete youth registration. Children should not send personal information through the general inquiry form or public program assistant. Do not enter medical information, payment credentials or private child details in these tools.
An adult-registration rule does not, by itself, resolve children’s online privacy obligations. If an online feature is directed to children under 13, or we know it collects information online from them, Next Rival must complete the applicable notice and verifiable-parental-consent process before collection unless a lawful exception applies. Unapproved child data must be restricted and deleted when required.
We do not publish birthdates, home addresses, contact details, medical records or emergency contacts. Identifiable public player recognition and official photo/video use require the choices described in the Media Policy. Routine public scores should use team names rather than private rosters.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only while needed for the stated purpose and applicable legal, insurance, accounting or claims obligations. Active roster and safety information is reviewed at season end. Unneeded eligibility-document copies, duplicate exports and superseded emergency details are deleted securely.
Transaction, consent and incident evidence may need longer restricted retention. Information subject to a legal preservation duty is held only as necessary for that duty.
Our internal retention schedule assigns each category a purpose, review date, deletion trigger and responsible person. We do not keep children’s online information indefinitely for possible future use. Where deletion from a rotating backup is delayed, the data remains protected and is not returned to ordinary use.
Next Rival requires role-based access, strong account protection, secure storage and prompt removal of access when a role ends. No service can promise perfect security. We assess suspected incidents promptly and provide notices required by applicable law.
Your requests and choices
Email HQ@NextRivalSports.com to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, withdrawal of an optional permission, or a review of a privacy decision. A guardian may make an authorized request for a child. We verify identity and authority proportionately and do not ask for unnecessary sensitive documents.
We will acknowledge requests within 10 business days and aim to respond within 30 calendar days, or sooner when law requires. If an applicable law permits an extension, we will explain it within the required period. If a request is limited by legal retention or another person’s rights, we will explain the limitation and available review route. Statutory complaint and appeal rights remain available.
Refusing optional media or updates does not prevent registration. Essential safety, schedule and transaction messages continue while needed. Adults may separately request Next Rival news; registration and contact-form submission do not subscribe anyone automatically. Unsubscribe instructions must be honored, and no promotional texts may be sent without the required separate consent.
